The perspective is twofold: from one point of view the selection gives an updated version of what is going on in contemporary photography in India; from the other point of view the included works expose different aspects of life in India today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The works represent established genres \u2013 of documentary, street, and subjective photography \u2013 and they exemplify different approaches towards questions about representation and narrative structures. In the more conceptually driven practices, one finds a developed meta-perspective, and a critical reflection on the medium of photography \u2013 its materiality, history, and presence in different contexts. Photography as conceptual art is also characterized by the use of archival material, digital applications and the embracing of mistakes and digital glitches.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background
